Crystal Cryer

24-7 Prayer Scotland Team

Crystal serves the national team in a pastoral support role. She also serves the Communities & Houses of Prayer Leadership Team for the UK, providing support and connection to 24-7 Prayer church and house of prayer communities within Scotland.

Crystal went into full-time ministry at age 21 but found her tribe when she read Red Moon Rising in 2005 and has been journeying with 24-7 Prayer ever since. She is now training with Sustainable Faith to become a Spiritual Director and is also studying Contemporary Chaplaincy with Waverley Abbey College. Her dream is to come alongside those on the margins of society in places like prisons, homeless shelters and recovery centres with the hope of helping them live from greater wholeness.

Originally from Oregon, USA, Crystal now lives in Dunbar, Scotland where she is part of the core team at Discovery, a 24-7 Prayer Community. Crystal loves prayer, authentic community and the inspiration that comes from the stories of the ancient Celtic Church. She also loves being out in nature with her fiancé Ondrej, time with friends and the people and land of bonnie Scotland.
